Over the course of the last 13 years, Rainbow Children Home Nepal has played a crucial role in safeguarding the basic rights of orphaned, impoverished and marginalized children by providing a nurturing and loving family and community. We could not have achieved the successes we have had without the support of many wonderful and generous sponsors, visitors, volunteers and friends.

Rainbow Children Home Nepal receives no funding from the government or from any major corporations. We do not receive any tax benefits or incentives. We rely solely upon the generosity of individual donations to assist us in maintaining our house and supporting the children’s development. Whilst this financial model has got us to where we are today, it has become increasingly evident that it is not a sustainable nor reliable method of revenue and thus we are seeking an alternative funding solution.

As an organization, financial stability is crucial for the operation and sustainability of our home and the continuation of our very important work within our society. Many of our fellow children homes here in Nepal have corporate or philanthropic backing for expenses such as staff salaries, house rent and utilities and until now, Rainbow Children Home has not required nor sought this type of support. But we are currently entering into a time of financial crisis and believe this type of support could be just the lifeline we need to be able to continue changing lives here in Nepal.
