Rainbow Children Home-Nepal (RCH-Nepal), established in 2007 and officially registered with the Chief District Office of Kaski, is a non-profit, charitable NGO committed to the welfare of orphans, disadvantaged, and destitute children. Born from the devastating impact of Nepal’s decade-long internal conflict—which left thousands of children orphaned and homeless—RCH-Nepal provides a secure and nurturing environment for children aged 2 to 14. Its mission is centered on ensuring access to free education, healthcare, food, and shelter, while promoting the social, intellectual, and economic development of underprivileged women, children, and adolescents. Currently home to 19 children, the organization also collaborates with local and international partners to mobilize resources for long-term sustainability and empowerment.
RCH-Nepal not only focuses on its resident children's growth but also addresses broader social issues such as child servitude, particularly in the Pokhara region. With limited access to mental health care in Nepal, the organization prioritizes both physical and psychological healing, offering counseling services to children who have endured extreme hardships. Its goals extend from securing sponsorships and expanding housing facilities to funding further education and integrating disabled children into mainstream schooling through scholarship programs. Through structured teaching, life skills development, and advocacy, RCH-Nepal is transforming the lives of marginalized children—demonstrating that with support and opportunity, even the most vulnerable can thrive. It continues to inspire hope by proving that compassion, structure, and opportunity can break cycles of poverty and transform young lives.
